Legal Times Gala Honors Two Legal Aiders

Legal Aiders Julie Becker and Barbara McDowell received high honors from the National Law Journal/Legal Times at their Gala last night. Julie was named as a rising star in the District’s Legal Community – one of the top “40 Under 40.” Barbara was remembered as a pioneer for her work in private practice, government and at Legal Aid. These two well deserved honors recognize the extraordinary talents and the contributions made by Barbara and Julie. Their recognition also elevates the profile of the work of Legal Aid and our legal services colleagues.
