This Friday, March 22, 2013, Legal Aid Legal Director Chinh Le will be moderating a panel entitled “Racial and Ethnic Justice & the Civil Right to Counsel,” at the 25th Annual Conference of the National Consortium on Racial and Ethnic Fairness in the Courts. Joining him on the panel will be Melanca Clark, Senior Counsel for the Access to Justice Initiative at the U.S. Department of Justice, Martha Davis, Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law, and John Pollock, Coordinator of the National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel at the Public Justice Center. In addition to serving as a moderator, Chinh also provided assistance to the National Consortium as a member of the conference’s Planning and Program Committee. The conference, which will take place March 20 to 23, 2013, will be held at the Marriot at Metro Center in Washington, D.C., and include events at both the Holocaust Museum and the Historic Courthouse of the D.C.
