Following the record-breaking success of the 2014 Generous Associates Campaign, 40 of the 72 participating law firms qualified for a chance to compete in the second Generous Associates Campaign CulinAerie Cooking Competition.

Legal Aid congratulates all of this year’s qualifying firms for their stellar performance in the Campaign. The top two fundraising firms this year – WilmerHale and Latham & Watkins – were automatically guaranteed slots in the cooking competition, and the remaining eligible firms were entered into a random drawing. On August 6, Co-Chair Kelli Scheid of Arent Fox LLP came by Legal Aid's office to do the official drawing.

We are pleased to announce that the 10 firms selected to compete in this year’s Generous Associates Campaign CulinAerie Cooking Competition are:

Dickstein Shapiro LLP
Foley Hoag LLP
Goodwin Procter LLP
Jenner & Block LLP
Latham & Watkins LLP
McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP
Miller & Chevalier Chartered
Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP
Wiley Rein LLP
Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP

The Generous Associates Campaign CulinAerie Cooking Competition was created in 2013 as a way for CulinAerie to support Legal Aid and help spur on the competition and performance of firms participating in the Generous Associates Campaign. The competition consists of 10 teams, a secret ingredient, and one hour to prepare a dish for a panel of 'celebrity' judges (TBD). DLA Piper was the champion of last year’s inaugural event, which yielded many creative dishes and stiff competition.

We look forward to another evening of good food and fierce competition on October 1 at CulinAerie (more event details).
